Piece of Peace - LEGO

A little while ago I went to the Piece of Peace World Heritage Exhibit built with Lego. They had use pieces made all with lego and beautiful models of famous spots from all over the world!!! Pretty awesome.

Trick Art Show

Sorry for the lack of posting, been extremely busy with school & work. Earlier this month I went to a trick art showing with my mom. Basically they were just paintings on the floor & walls & if you look at the photo with your camera or camera phone it looks like the art is popping out, the floor is a hole, etc. The illusions were cool & we got to do funny poses & have some fun mother-daughter pictures together. :) 

A Nice Day With New Friends

Last Sunday I had a lunch date with my new friends Kiana & her daughter Kai. We went to Climax Cafe which I featured in an earlier post. It was nice hanging out with someone who's from the same place I am & just talk about home & have girl time. Plus Kai is the cutest lil thing with a lot of sass & heart. About 30 minutes after meeting her she says, "Auntie, I love you so much." Too cute. The weather was gorgeous so we chilled by the beach where Kai got to play in the sand. All in all a fun day.

Golden Afternoon

A little while ago I went to a flower showing at Plaza House. The place was overcrowded with little old ladies and their hubbies. :) I walked around in awe, there were so many beautiful flowers. Some of the flowers reminded me of the flowers from Alice in Wonderland, I felt like they were going to start singing Golden Afternoon like in the cartoon version, "Pom pom pom pom..." haha. There were so many different types of flowers as well as some funky looking ones that I had never seen in my entire life. Also, they had awards for certain flowers for which flowers bloomed the best, the rarest, the most beautiful, etc. If only there had been some bread-and-butterflies to kiss the tulips, then the showing would have been perfect! 

Picnic in the Car

On our drive we had a hard time finding any places to stop & eat with our dogs being there and on top of that we were starving! So we ended up just picking a parking lot & eating in the car with some music on. :) My mom made onigiri, tsukemono, & spare ribs which were amazing! Even Steve-o & Shawn-chi had their own special rice & doggy food mix bento! 

Okurareruka Flower Fields

Sorry for the lack of posting, I have been swamped with work & college! Any who continuing with the country drive pictures. Here is the Okurareruka flower field that my Mommy, pups, & I went to in Oogimi-son. There were so many flowers it blew my mind ^.^ We bought about 10 flowers & took them home because they were so lovely. 

Spring Break Family Drive

A few days ago Mom, the boys, & I went on a drive to search for the Okurareruka Flower Fields. It was a giant adventure since we had to go far into the country side. We had to stop for directions since we got a little lost. It was also a great family outing because we took the boys Steve-o & Shawn-chi with us. :) They're still getting used to the idea of drives & it was so cute to see them trying to look out the window, I think they enjoyed it. Next the flower fields!
