Butterfly House

On Friday I went to a butterfly house up in the country for a kindergarten & first grade field trip. It took about an hours drive to get there but it beat working in the classroom. It was a very beautiful place with a great view of the ocean & plenty of flowers outside. Inside there were so many butterflies flying about casually, it blew my mind. The kids loved it & I had a lot of fun teaching them how to properly hold the butterflies without touching their wings. It's funny because I learned how to hold butterflies when I was in first grade & still remembered how to do it. It felt good to pass that information on. I felt like a little kid again & I can't wait to go back on my own time. :)

  2. I liked it a lot! :) I think Kai would enjoy it if she isn't afraid of bugs!

  6. Yes! I wish there had been more different kinds of colored ones but mostly they were these, black, or the little ones you see at parks. But regardless fun & beautiful. :D
